Our Concrete Pump Equipment

Purpose-Built Line-Pump Equipment for Residential and Hard-Access Concrete Work

Concrete Pump Rental Inc. operates line-pump equipment designed to move ready-mix concrete through connected pipe and hose.

The equipment is only one part of the job. A successful pour also depends on access planning, line routing, concrete pumpability, timing and an experienced operator.

Our line pump

Current primary pump:

Schwing WP 750-15X line pump

For the trailer-mounted service option, see our Trailer Pump Rental page.

This machine is used for the type of work that makes up our core service:

  • Basements
  • Footings
  • Foundations
  • Residential slabs
  • Backyards
  • Additions
  • Pool-related projects
  • Hard-access placements
  • Longer hose and pipe routes
  • Suitable commercial concrete work

How a line-pump system works

Ready-mix concrete is discharged into the pump hopper.

The pump moves the concrete into the delivery system.

Pipe and flexible hose create the route from the pump to the placement area.

Near the pour, the delivery hose can be positioned by the placing crew as the concrete is distributed through the forms or slab.

Why this equipment fits our core work

Our work is heavily focused on residential and access-limited projects.

On these sites, the main challenge is often getting concrete:

  • Around a house
  • Through side access
  • Into a basement
  • Along footings
  • To a backyard
  • Behind finished landscaping
  • To a placement area far from the mixer truck

A line-pump configuration is well suited to this type of routing.

Pipe and flexible hose

The delivery system can use both rigid pipe and flexible hose.

Rigid pipe helps form stable sections of the route.

Flexible hose is useful where the line must bend, move or be controlled near the placement area.

The amount and arrangement depend on the job.

The pump does not replace job planning

Even capable equipment cannot compensate for poor site preparation.

Before the pump arrives, we still need:

  • Clear setup space
  • Ready-mix access
  • A planned line route
  • A pumpable concrete mix
  • Forms and reinforcement ready
  • A placing crew
  • Coordinated concrete delivery
  • Washout planning

What we do not represent this equipment as

Our core machine is a line pump.

It is not an articulated boom pump.

Customers searching for “pump truck” or “concrete pump truck” may use those terms broadly, but the equipment type should always be described accurately before booking.

Match the equipment to the job

A good equipment decision considers:

  • Project type
  • Concrete volume
  • Route length
  • Elevation
  • Number of bends
  • Concrete mix
  • Access
  • Required placement rate

If our line-pump service is not the correct equipment category for a project, that should be identified before the concrete is scheduled.
