Line Pump Rental for Hard-to-Reach Concrete Jobs

Need concrete moved through a side yard, into a basement, behind a house or across a site where the ready-mix truck cannot reach? We provide a line pump with an experienced operator and route the hose to the pour area.

Send the address, pour size and a few access photos. We’ll help you plan the pump setup before concrete arrives.

Need concrete too?

Book your pump and ask us for ready-mix pricing. We can help arrange concrete through a well-established local ready-mix producer at competitive rates.

One call can help coordinate both the pump and ready-mix timing.

What a line pump does

A line pump moves ready-mix concrete through connected pipe and flexible hose from the truck to the placement area. It is especially useful when the truck cannot safely back close enough to discharge directly.

  • Routes through side yards and narrow access
  • Reaches basements and interior slabs
  • Moves concrete behind homes and buildings
  • Handles footings, foundations, slabs, pools and similar pours

We arrive with the pump and operator. Your crew remains responsible for placing, spreading and finishing the concrete unless other arrangements are made.

Concrete Slabs

Line pumping keeps concrete moving to slab areas where direct truck access is limited.

Residential Pours

Useful for residential slabs and other pours where the concrete has to travel from the truck to the work area.

Common line-pump jobs

  • Backyard slabs
Patios, additions and pads behind the house.
  • Basement floors
Concrete moved indoors through a planned hose route.
  • Footings & foundations
Steady placement along forms and excavation edges.
  • Pool work
Concrete delivered around pool areas where truck access is limited.
  • Garage & floor slabs
Useful when the chute cannot get close enough.
  • Long hose routes
For sites where concrete has to travel farther from the truck.

Line pump vs. boom pump

Line pump

Concrete travels through pipe and hose laid along the site. It works well for many residential and hard-access jobs where the route can be planned from the ready-mix truck to the pour.

Boom pump

A boom pump uses an articulated boom to place concrete from above. It may be the better choice when the project needs overhead reach or a different setup.

Our core service is line-pump concrete pumping with an operator.

How far can a line pump reach?

There is no single distance that applies to every pour. We look at the entire hose route before confirming the setup.

  • Total distance from the pump to the pour
  • Elevation changes
  • Number of bends and corners
  • Concrete mix and aggregate
  • Access for pipe and hose
  • Where the ready-mix truck can safely load the pump

For unusual access, send photos or a short video. That is usually the fastest way to determine whether a line-pump setup makes sense.

Hard access is exactly where planning matters most. A good route reduces delays once the concrete truck is on site.

Built for the jobs the chute cannot reach

Side yards, basements, pools, footings and back-of-house pours often come down to one question: can we create a practical hose route? Send the access photos before the pour and we’ll help you work it out.
